The district was established on August 21, 2018 in the Primary Election.

Board Members where voted on November 6, 2018, the Board shall be a 5 member board.

At the first meeting the new Board had to draw for lots to see which 3 members will serve a 2-year term and which 2 members will serve a 4-year term.
